Family,
Things
are going really well with OC. This past week we were able to teach him a
few times, and he came to church again. We originally gave him a baptismal
date of March 20, but as we've been teaching him, we felt like he is learning
and accepting everything well enough that he could be baptized a week
earlier. I talked to LG about it to see what he thought, but then the next
day when we taught Brother OC, we didn't get a chance to talk about
baptism. Brother LG called us that night, saying that he talked to him
about it and he's good with getting baptized on the 13th. It was pretty
cool, it kind of feels like we have an extra missionary serving with us
:)
I'm
not sure what happened, but all of the people we met last week were busy or
something this week, so we weren't able to meet any of them. It was
actually a pretty slow week, other than OC. Kind of frustrating,
especially because we have a ton of investigators and potential investigators
right now, more than I've ever had at one time on my mission, but all of them
are either hard to contact or hard to meet, so nothing is really working out
right now. Maybe it will pick up more in the future, we'll see.
LYH
is doing really well. He told me that he hasn't been able to go to church
very much since he is busy with work, but he really wants to go to the temple,
and he always tells me about these dramatic spiritual manifestations that he
experiences from time to time :)
